GENERAL INFORMATION

The Warsaw Jewish Ghetto and Memorial (4 km) – This was the largest of the Jewish ghettos established by Nazi Germany. In the three years of its existence, the population of the ghetto fell from an estimated 450,000 to 37,000. The Warsaw Ghetto uprising is commemorated with the Heroes’ Memorial.
