A dozen or so regatta events are organised here every year, in which the best Polish yachtsmen participate. In winter, when the waters freeze over, the lake becomes a popular spot for iceboats. The clean and relatively shallow water also makes the reservoir great for anglers. Breams, carp, roaches, white breams, pikeperches, pikes, perches and catfish all make their home in the water here.
